Filipe came to the UK over 55 years ago and began his career in 1967 with the Hilton Group of Hotels. Starting as a service waiter, he moved up the ladder to become the Banqueting Operations Manager, a position he held for over 20 years. Filipe recently featured in the Channel 5, four-part program on Hilton Park Lane.

Throughout his distinguished career, Filipe has had the honour of serving numerous celebrities and royalty, from HRH Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip to the younger royals, Prince William and Prince Harry. His clientele has included iconic figures such as The Beatles, Tom Jones, and James Bond actors from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig. He has also catered to political leaders including Harold Wilson, David Cameron, and Ronald Reagan, as well as sports personalities, cricketers, rugby players, and prime ministers during the Olympics, when the Hilton served as the headquarters.

Recently, Filipe felt the need to reconnect with himself and has delved into spirituality and meditation and wanted to be a part of this team to enable him to pass on his knowledge and experience not only of managing a great event but also managing an event that helps to restore the health and wellbeing of others.
